My idea of Research when I started out was the Specifics Sections, the Archives,The Build Sections, and of Course the FOR SALE Section.
You may: 'hey wait!..the FS Section..What is this guy on?"..but Honestly, that SHOWS you parts, and what people have run in their cars.
If you compare parts mentioned in the Specific sections to the parts For Sale, then sometime you hit GOLD for half the price!
Crazy?..maybe..My Doctor says 10 more sessions and I too can Own a Honda ..just like him!

I have searched but only found $1000 double oil cooler kits, was hoping in 20 years that someone would make an R1 add on...

Sometimes you can find R1 dual cooler for a couple hundred bux in the FS section, or piece together one yourself. You can use another driver side cooler or an auto tran cooler if you can't find an R1 passenger side cooler. Search around, there are plenty of info, even a full part list on what you need.

R-model dual coolers will be your easiest "plug-n-play" option. If/when you get one, consider having it cleaned before installation. I think a google search will show companies that do that. Remember that you need ducting too.

There is also this option in case you don't want to wait specifically for an R1 oil cooler setup to pop up. It talks about converting a driver's side cooler to the passenger side.

This is a must for anyone that is planning on autocross, HPDEs and really anyone that lives in the south.

I found a seller and am working with him, hopefully the deal goes thru!

An FD Automatic Transmission Cooler can also be converted to use as a 2nd oil cooler.

Physically, only the fittings are different.

Check it out:
