was just wondering if someone could tell me how many miles i should put on it before i start street racing and what i should keep the rpms under while im breaking the engine in and how many miles i should put on it before it sits in the garage or the winter

 

i heard that one is supposed to let the motor idle for like 30 minutes then change the oil. i dont think your supposed to go pass 4k rpm for like 3k miles. i would rum premix to get the housings nice and lubricated

 

im told that easy driving dont take it past 4krpms then after first 500 miles give it an oil change then another 1500 miles of easy driving, oil change and your ready to go...

 

yea I've heard 3-5k.

 

I say drive it for 500 miles, change the oil, then beat the hell out of it.

 

thank you all and yeah i was told like 3000 to 3500 and about 500miles before winter and 1000 before i start getting on it

 

your almost at 500 miles change the oil and the you got 500 more then i say beat it james did a great job on building that for ya so your almost there and besides your going to need to brake it in for my fd to walk the park with bud lol
