problems with accelration

i started having some problems where when i rev my rpms it won't rev past 3000 and seems to pulsate this came out of nowhere and have now idea. lookng for suggestions thanks it starts just fine and idles okay you wouldn't know there was a problem until you give it some gas

what series? turbo/na?

My first thought would be secondary injectors dirty/failing but we should have a lot more information to help diagnose this issue.

it's an 87 NA not sure of the series.

And the cause was?

You are likely facing a bad ECU ground at the engine.

not sure let it set over night tried it the next morning hasn't happened again.

glad it worked it's self out but try some injector cleaner anyways just in case.

Injector cleaner won't help. It's nothing but snake oil.

An intermittent problem will reoccur again, probably at the worst time possible.

A good first step is to check your grounds:
