In aggressive driving oil disappears. How do I know if it's turbo or the O-rings? Or something else? the car is not a stamp leak oil.

 

Fellahs, the guy is from Prague, so question carefully and assume English won't be a straight translation from the way we talk normally...personally, I have no idea what "stamp leak oil." means but I'm assuming he means it's not a leaky engine.

Any 2ndgen guru's have any trick diagnoses for this particular problem?

 

The metering oil pumps will injector more oil into the engine when the throttle is fully open. In a car that mostly sees cruising, about 1 quart burned per 3000 miles is normal. But if you drive at full throttle all the time, that number will go up much higher. About how much is it using over what amount of time? If it's not smoking, it's probably not the other cause, which would be leaky oil control rings.

 

Sorry my english is not perfect. The metering oil pumps do not use. Is removed. I use premix.

When travel around 2000-4000rpm not leak oil. But at 6000-7000rpm for 30 min, I measure from the top to the bottom lines. And as the smoke from the exhaust.

 

Is the smoke blue? If so, it indicates that the rotor oil o-rings are wearing out. This becomes very easy to spot with high RPM smoke.

 

The smoke is gray. When I speed up to 8000-8500rpm and the exhaust is very much smoke.

Oil pressure is around 5-6 bar to be 72-87 psi

 

Oil control rings or you're using too much premix.

 

I premix 500 ml on a full tank about 60 liters.

Ok. Turbo it is not. Then the next rebuild

 

If it was O-rings or side seal. No oil leak would permanently? Leak at high rpm only.

 

The leak would be intermittent if the seals are just slightly worn. It will gradually increase as they wear.

Now, the engine may run for years like this without developing a significant problem.
