NC Please help '93 fd bogging and running weird.

was playing with a mustang a week ago and after being at high rpms the car started bogging like a helicopter sound. i got home and noticed coolant coming out of a hose. Fixed that and now it doesnt overheat it just runs like it has 50 hp and boggs. Did i blow the seals? fuel line? anyone ever heard of a similar issue? Thanks for your help.

Check the map sensor and make sure the line didn't blow off (on the firewall) If the line is still on dona compression test (15$ for a tester at harbor freight). Best of luck

Just behind the throttle body, Right above the oil filter on the firewall.

See the 2nd pic.... Its the one that says Sensor boost at the top middle of the picture. Since you mentioned the power fc you might as well tell us what mods you have on your car and has it been tuned.

Edit: mods on in his sig.

It starts normal, wont stay idleing, and it sounds normal at some rpms and then will sound like its bogging while reving the motor. like its not getting enough gas or something. like a dirtbike with a dirty carb or something is the only thing i can compare to.

The Map sensor can be seen in your second pic. It is the small square plastic box attached to the firewall. There is a vacuum line underneath it going to the rats nest. Check that hose is still connected.

If it is attached, I'd suggest doing a compression test. Who tuned the Power FC?

Rotorsports of Kannapolis tuned the FC. and it ran fine before the high rpm race with the stang. Could it be the fuel pressure regulator?
