Parts Smarts

I just bought my second ever 1984 RX-7 GSL. I bought the first one in 1984. Yep...I'm that old.
This second car needs some repair help and TLC before it can pass a safety inspection by the local DMV, including some replacement parts.
Who will be kind to the new guy and point me in the right direction for part sources? So far, I need:
- Dust shields for front brakes (they evaporated into teeny tiny rust molecules)
- Exhaust shields (the flimsy one just below the header, and the the longer shield(s) that go along the downstream exhaust (back half of car). Also rusted.
- Exhaust pipe/muffler
I've looked every place that I know of (on the web), and can't even find a part number for the shields. The only exhaust parts seemed to be expensive racing gear. Maybe they just don't exist?

Many of the factory manuals, including the parts manual, can be found here: Foxed.ca - Mazda RX-7 Manuals

Mazda still has some parts available but the dealership computers only go back to 1986 so you need the parts numbers: [url=http://foxed.ca/rx7manual/manuals/parts_manuals/84-85/]Index of /rx7manual/manuals/parts_manuals/84-85

I do not think the parts you have listed are available so used is the way to go.

I would also suggest creating a want to buy ad in the marketplace section for the parts you need. I wish I had some that were in decent shape. I'd sell them to you for the price of shipping.
