Overfilled motoro oil?
I recently had a fluid change at EGR here in Sac, and they put 4.5 quarts of oil in. I didn't think much of it at the time, but now checked the owner manual which calls for 3.7. Is this something to worry about or not a big deal? The dipstick is reading exactly at the full line, if not barely over.

4.5 quarts is about the factory specified amount of oil needed for a change with filter. Sounds right to me. I typically dump a 5 quart jug in and it ends up just slightly over the fill mark.
From the FSM:
Oil pan: 4.7 US quarts
Oil cooler: 0.85 US quarts
Oil filter: 0.32 US quarts
If you drain the pan, and change the filter, you should be adding about 5 quarts back into the system. If the owners manual really says 3.7 quarts, it's wrong. Trust the mark on the distick, since the actual amount of oil drained will vary a certain amount. Oil temp, how long you leave the plug out and the angle the car is sitting at will all have an effect.
