oil from reg to syn
i just changed my oil a few weeks ago put castrol syntec in it. now i heard that leaves ash deposits. is it ok to use this or should i rechange my oil and use royal purple? or can i just start filling it up with royal purple when it needs oil or should i completely change it. now i just got done or am in the process of my project car, i just would like a few peeps to tell me how it looks and if it gives some proud name to the 7. one guy said to burn it with the last paint job i did but this one is awesome and still i havent clear coated it yet.(waiting for my fathers day gift... its a paint sprayer) so i will be doing it soon. and thanks ahead rotaryrocket and arron cake.. u guys prob be the first to answer.

There are a lot of opinions on this matter, but I don't think you have anything to worry about. Personally, I usually run Castrol GTX 20/50, but lately I've been trying the Lucas motor oil which recently became available at Autozone. I've always had great luck with Lucas products, so I figured I'd give them a shot.
