Oil Pedestal Nuts from Hell

Hey guys... I'm desperate. I've been trying to replace to o-rings, hoping it'll fix the notorious oil leak coating the engine. I've gotten past the first bolt with ease, however the second in the back is stripped beyond belief. Should I take a grinder to it.. idk what I'm doing with my life anymore ;c

Is it the bolt that's striped or the nut? A small pair of vice grips might work. The bolt is a stud so it can be replaced if needed.

It's the nut that's stripped :/ I can't seem to get a hold of it with vice grips in a tight spot. Appreciate the help!

If you have space between the pedestal and iron, get a screwdriver between the pedestal and iron to get pressure on the nut so it won't free spin. Don't force it though. If a vice grip won't fit then you wan't be able to get a grinder in there to grind the nut off.
