Oil cooler line replacement - help!

I have a 1982 GS with the 12a engine in it. It has 95,000 miles on it and it appears that there is a slight leak in the front oil cooler line (in and out). I'm hoping that I can do this my self but thought I'd see if anyone has experience doing so and where to find parts for this little adventure. Thanks in advance for any insights.

If your looking at spending money, Mazdatrix has a set of stainless steel ones.

Or you can probably source one from the for sale section.

Its as simple as remove old line, install new line. When you take one side off I am willing to bet a lot of oil will drain out, so be aware.

very easy...you can upgrade to steel braided for cheap as was said above...looks nicer..last much longer and cost more up front but saves you in long run..teh cloth braided lines always seep after a while...steel braided good quality last forever...check racing beat they have the lines and fittings..make sure you buy the fittins too LOL or you will have to wait for them after

Your local hydraulic shop can also make you a set of lines for very little money.

Good info ...Thanks

Thanks one and all. I suspected that it was a pretty straight forward job. Thanks for the confirmation and the great info. I'll post when the job is finished.
