Nikki carburetor fuel pouring in
I have a 1980 rx7 which I have been overhauling. I have also overhauled the stock Nikki carburetor. It pours in fuel such that there are puddles down the intake barrels. I read multiple forums about this carburetor here on rx7club and note this carburetor causes a lot of grief. I removed the floats and readjusted these exactly according to specifications Reassembled and exact same problem. Does anyone have any other advice as it will be greatly appreciated!!!! Thank you

search for "float bowl vent solenoid". Located on the carb, near the alternator, single bullet connector to 12 volt switched source. If not functioning, fuel will flow into carb after shutdown.
Check out www.sterlingmetalworks.com for lots of carb info.

Junk yard or for sale section. You can test the one you have, just see if it actuates when you connect it to 12v positive. You should be able to hear it click as it does it's thing. Could be the valve, could be the wiring. Good luck...
