Attachment 493826Hello everyone, i recently purchased a 1978 series 1 with a 12a Bridgeport uncompleted project in the hope of finishing it. Now being someone with very basic mechanical knowledge and no understanding of a rotary engine I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to advance my knowledge (and end up with a pretty awesome ride to.) The idea is simple enough: put it all back together, and away i ago. Now everything is there for it to be done, just not in the right spot. Interior i can do no trouble its the motor and wiring i may have some issues with.

Reason for posting is i have a come to a dead stop. (pictures below)

Could anyone tell me what sits in that empty spot between the engine and gearbox? i have no idea.

And also on this one? Thats the exhaust on the bottom and intake on the top. Dont know what fits here and it looks like something does.



Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also on a side note what would your opinion be in starting first?
