There are tons of threads on RHD legality and to sum it up, no, it's not legal.

These threads usually turn into a flame fest with bad information....

I'd recommend searching.

ive seen a few RHDs in the states. its just a pain to get em there. ive found a bunch of laws my problem is finding companies that do it and the best way to do it. when it hits 25 years old it can be imported as a classic and bipasses alot of crap.

Importation and Certification FAQ's Directory--All Vehicles

From what i understand its easier to import to Canada. i believe its 15 years till considered classic. every company ive seen so far imports to Canada. i have yet to find one thatll go to the states.

Ive got Family in BC and have been contimplating that option as well.

Just ask the R32-R34 owners. Lot of hassle.

looks like its going to be more of a pain in the *** than what its worth. from what ive seen though cars thatre 25 yo are considered classics and can be imported without changing anyhting. unfortunately mine is a 94 and is only 18 yo ...

i appreciate the input. i may have to sell her... hopefully mazda will kick out a worthy Rx7 successor in the next couple of years... that way ill only be heart broken for a lil while haha

im deffinately not trying to break any laws by any means... not worth the consequences by any means...
