Odd that you are blowing up transmissions. The FC turbo and FD transmissions are quite stout and will take a lot of abuse. What failed?
There aren't really any bolt on aftermarket transmissions for less then about $10K. There are kits that let you bolt up the T5 and T56 but they are far from bolt on.

It would be your job to keep the speedometer running. I suspect that the T-5 may be easier in that area since the Mazda transmission is very similar in many ways to the T-5. If they don't bolt right up, you'll need to figure out a custom adapter for the speed sensor or go to an aftermarket gauge.

The FD transmission can hold some HP if you treat it well. It can handle 450hp, but you can't smash gears and drop burnouts on it.
You can either start using the clutch or get a dogbox. Personally I would treat it better because I don't want to drive a dogbox on the street. There are dogbox sets that fit within the FD housings/drivetrain and there are complete transmission swaps.
