Those would be the "oil cooler hoses".

What year is your car?

You can purchase them from your local Mazda dealer, or Mazdatrix.com (http://www.mazdatrix.com/b6.htm) , or you can make them yourself from braided SS hose and AN fittings.

However, the leak may be at the banjo bolts that connect the hoses to the cooler. Check the tightness of the bolts using a torque wrench. Torque is 40-51 ft. lbs.

Post a "wanted to buy" in the classified section of the forum.

For the braided hoses and fittings, google AN fittings. However, unless you know how to make such hoses, I would suggest you buy them already made.

I just installed a set of the corksport lines on my car after my custom rebuilt lines started to leak (lasted me 7 years though). $130 isn't bad at all, and the quality is great. I know some others had some issues with the corksport lines in the past, but they've apparently swapped over to a different company to assemble them. I'd definitely suggest new lines. Buying a used set is likely to result in having to replace them again sooner than you'd like. And getting at the rear iron connection is not enjoyable. It's a pain in the ***, so do it once, and do it right.

You can reuse the banjo bolts but you should replace the "washers" shown in the image I posted in Post #4. You can get them through Mazda or perhaps your local auto parts store. Maybe Corksport provides them with the hoses? Otherwise, take one of the washers to a local parts store and see what they have. These "washers" are actually seals that prevent leakage around the bolt/fitting.

I forgot to mention, if you have a local hydraulic shop, they can make you set of these hoses very cheaply. Often well under $100 and they will outlast the car.

The corksport lines do come with 8 replacement crush washers.

I did this for my last set. Paid around $200 and they started leaking years down the road. But it varies of course. Some places will do a better job than others.

Yeah, it helps to have a quality hydraulic shop. We have a lot of good hydraulic shops around London and it also helps to have a reputation.

You don't need to drain the oil.
