need help on injector problem

just got a 1990 rx7 with the 13b rotory, been trying to get it running and just not getting anywhere. i took it to work and got someone else to look at it and he couldn't get anywhere. just wanted to know if i could check the secondary injectors like u can on a gas burn engine with a noid light. if u can mine aren't working. any suggestions on what to check.

I am not sure what a 'noid' light is, but the 13B uses the same injectors as any other car so as long as you used the light correctly you might have bad injectors.

This is a rare case though, and the second injectors don't turn on under a certain RPM. What problems are you having to make it think its your injectors?

the engine will turn over but just wont start. i can spray some starting fluid or some gas in the intake and it will pop off like it wants to start but it just dont. but just so u have an idea of a noid light its just a light that u plug into the wireing going to the injector, and when u turn the engine over it will light up if u are getting power.

Yeah you can, but the secondaries don't come online until 3800ish RPM with engine load present. Make sure the primaries are firing, and then go from there.

I would back up a little bit. Make sure that you have fuel to the injectors. That sounds like your problem.
The injectors will have a constant 12V to one side and a pulsing 12V to the other side when the engine is turning over. But, without fuel they can't inject anything. I would be willing to be you have a fuel pump issue.

I was just about to say that, check to see if you have fuel by pulling a hose. Then suspect a dirty sock in the tank or a clogged fuel filter.

Have you tried doing a compression check on the motor yet?

My car did the same thing when i first got it, and all it really took was just trying to start it over and over with carb cleaner or what not.

It took a while, but it finally caught and it's been going good ever since.
