Need advice

Hello
I have a 92 fd3s.
So long story short car won't start but will crank
I replaced the fuel pump with a walbro 400lph, because I wasn't getting any fuel to the engine. Only to find out it wasn't priming when the key was in.
So I bypassed all that and then I was getting fuel but still no-go.
Later find out that there's no spark.
I was thinking it was the crank angle sensor. Although I'm not 100% sure.
I've contacted many people in the Kitchener area and everyone said that they only do engine work and no trouble shootjng anymore.

So right now I'm at a standstill. I don't know what to do. Does anyone know where I can get it fixed. My wife wanted me to bring it to the dealership, but I'm very much against that, seeing how it's modified.

Can anyone give me advice as to where I should go, or a shop that I can take it to
