NA FC rx7 clutch replacement question

Hello, I am in the process of putting my FC back together after a fresh rebuild. I am having a bit of trouble installing the clutch. When I go to install the pressure plate I was given I believe 6 bolts. 4 of those bolts are short while 2 of them are tall. The problem is that I do not know where those bolts go. I've looked at countless manuals and can't seem to find the answer to my question. And when putting the pressure plate onto the flywheel there isn't a clear place to put them. Did I buy the wrong clutch? The only thing I managed to figure out is that these two longer bolts only come with the NA rx7.
Thanks,
JC14

I don't remember the clutch bolts actually having different lengths, but I will admit I'm not positive on that. I remember some clutches come with spacers, so it may have been because of different length bolts. What I do remember for sure is that two (2) of the bolts have a non-threaded area on them, and they have to go into 2 specific holes. Check page 59 of this: Racing Beat Tech Manual it details the install with regard to the bolts.

Another possible pertinent question is are you using the OEM flywheel or an aftermarket one?

Ok thanks I will be sure to check the manual out. I am using the OEM flywheel. I guess I am talking about the bolts that have a space with no thread but I see them a bit taller than the rest. Anyway thank you.

I did this job just over a month ago. If I recall correctly on the flywheel you will find that 4 of the holes have threads immediately, and two of them have an un-threaded section and thread starts deeper in the hole. The two that don't have thread immediately are for the bolts with the un-threaded section. Again, this is the best of my recollection. I'd check for you, but frankly I really don't want to pull my clutch off. I didn't mark the bolt holes for which bolts went where when disassembled, and then upon reassembly I had to try a few different arrangements until I found the right one.

EDIT: This page seems to indicate I'm right, 2ndgenrx7.freeservers.com
It can't be linked directly, navigate to Technical > Clutch Repair
