Angry My T2 smokes too much!

Okay I've got a couple questions maybe someone on here can help me out.

I recently traded in my ae86 corolla for a 87 TII fc.

Now im trying to just figure out the little things to make this thing more daily driveable.

whats done to it: (maybe this would help)

rebuilt motor- 17k
street ported
running premix fuel
stock turbo-11psi
3in hks exhaust- all the way through (straight pipe)
92 octane shell gas always.

Heres the problem. When I hit boost and let off it smokes pretty bad but when I drive normally it stops. And even sometimes when im warming my car up it starts to smoke a pretty good amount. At first I thought I was running too much 2 cycle oil so I put less in. Doesnt smoke as bad as before but still does it. The smoke is white and lingers around for a bit. When it comes into the cabin it smells like the oil I put in the gas.

I researched on this forum and saw that people put in an oz. per gallon of gas of 2cycle oil. tried that and it smoked ridiculously. The guy that owned the car before me told me that he put 2oz per full tank. big difference! I have no clue what's wrong.

I dont know if im doing something wrong or what. But any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Two ounces per tankful is not nearly enough! One ounce per gallon is what is to be used if the metering oil pump has been disabled.

Since you say that the smoke comes on when you let off after driving in boost, it sounds like it's the turbo.

To test the engine, hold it at 6000 RPM for about 30 seconds. If you start to see smoke out of the back, it could very well be oil o-rings.

Let off the throttle quickly. If you see a load of smoke, it may be the turbocharger. Pull off the intercooler and check for excessive oil to determine if it's the compressor side. Pull the spark plugs. If they are black and oily, it's the engine. If not, it's the turbine side.

OH. and if it is the turbo making all that smoke what needs to be changed? the whole turbo itself or some gaskets? lmk.

thanks.

I would think a rebuild is in order.
