My 1991 rx7 turbo won't start.
Hey everyone, so i just bought a 1991 rx7 fc turbo and it ran and drove the first week i got it. It needed a new started so i got it and put it in. Went to start it and it wont start. The starter cranks everything and the car really tries to turn over but it jist doesn't. Put new oil, coolant, and tested really everything i could think of to get it started. Kinda sounds like its flooded but I did the procedure and it still wont start. I bought new psark plugs for it but having put them in yet but i have been told that its the flywheel that might be the issue as it still does the same thing it did with the old starter. Also i might add that it ran really hot the last day i drove it but i didn't drive it very long maybe 5 minutes max. Its been over 2 weeks now and idk if it is flooded or what and needs a full look down. I just need some help cause i really wanna drive it and work on it so i can enjoy it but i cant even enjoy it if its sitting in my driveway. I would really appreciate it if someone could maybe tell me something and if you have any questions or anything thaf i missed to put in ill answer so i can find the solution to this beautiful car.

Define really hot... you need to find out why it isn't holding temp. Thermostat, bad fan clutch, coolant leak?
If the engine is turning over there is nothing wrong with the flywheel or starter.
Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see if you have fuel pressure while cranking.

The temp gauge went qll the way up to H and the guy i bought it from said it has never done that for the 15ish years he has had it. It seems to catch here and there even with a new starter so that's why i rhink it could be the fly wheel not getting enough power to start the engine but to crank it over. New spark plugs go in sunday but I still don't know cause wheb i crank it it smells like gas and its pretty strong but i have checked for flooding and its not flooded but maybe its flooded and i jist can't see it. I have plans to fully deflood it this weekend but its doesnt tell me why it ran one day then completely wouldnt start a day later.
