PA MSD write up for GXL

I have been looking for the write up for MSD write up for a 2nd gen. I'm kinda new to the forums and RX7s. Im going to change EFI for a Holley 600 and have full exhaust set up (just in case it matters).

So what sort of MSD are you wanting to install??? A CDI system? an ignition controller??? What part and what are you trying to do? 6a? 5a? DIS2?

As a hint, posts with almost 0 details don't get answered very fast.

Another equally valid question is to ask why you are going with the carburetor. About the only valid reason is that you are going to be racing in a class that bans fuel injection.

Must be that, because doesn't the 600 flow considerably less than the stock throttle body.

Not a big fan of the EFI ( already read all of the controversy on this subject) . Most of the RX7 owners I have met have gone to carburetor and also the price of EFI vs Carburetor factor. As for the MSD thing, nvm cause im keeping the stock coils for now.

My personal opinion is the Holley is a bad idea. Lot's of tuning hassles, and the Holley's quality is very poor.
EFI, especially stock is just so easy.

I will try it out, if it doesn't work for me i will go back to EFI. But I have to try it out, cant help myself. Will try to post pics and provide some feedback about it. Is that a fair deal for all of u EFI guys? Also remember I'm new to RX7s, I need to experiment to see what works for me.
