moon roof mystery

I've been having trouble with my moon roof on my TII. Sometimes it works perfectly and sometimes it doesn't. When it is not working it will flip up but it won't slide back. There doesn't seem to be any pattern as to when it works and when it doesn't except that it works more often when I drive the car more. Has anyone else had this problem?

lubricate the slider assembly with silicone lube..
spray the **** out of it...open/close..repeat..and see if that helps.

Mine does the same thing. If you tap the switch does it slide then? Mine does so I'm assuming It's just a relay going out.
