TN low roar at nearly all speeds and loose steering?

Hi My name is James, I have a 1985 RX-7 SE and was wanting to know a few
concerns. one is there is a low frequency roar (location unknown) at nearly all speeds and second question. My steering is very loose (play) and sometimes can be hard to handle.
is there a way to tighten the play? any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are no adjustments on steering parts unless it is wheel alignment adjustments ,,.BUY NEW BE SAFE. Get someone to move the steering wheel back and forth while you watch the steering components , you should be able to see where all the play and wear is , all steering parts should move as one ,.
As far as the roar the only thing I can think of is you have a Karack in your trunk.

Good info in this thread (steering slop): https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generati...ul-kit-441629/

The roaring noise could be just about anything. Start with wheel bearings, differential, and hope it's not the tranny itself. Obviously, if you can narrow down where the noise is coming from you'll save yourself a lot of time troubleshooting.
