I am looking into buying a 93 RX7 with 40k orginal miles. I had a few questions.

First, is there anything specific I should be looking for when I do go to look at the car? I've seen it sitting in a parking lot, so I never got to look inside or under the hood or even hear it. All I can say is that is is MINT, and owned by an adult (no kids).

Second part of this is going to come with questions regarding modifications. I have been reading the past few days about the RX7s but still have questions about modifying them.
If and when I do end up buying the car, the first thing I am going to do is change the plugs/wires and make sure everything is running in tip-top shape.

I plan on buying an intake, downpipe (with no cats) and having our shop build a nice 3" catback (with a nice Ti muffler), a BOV and possibly a manual boost controller (of course I will get a Boost Gauge and wideband). Now I know every car is different when it comes to modifications, so basically I am trying to find out what else I will need to look into before or during these modifications. Will I need an A/F computer to tune it for these mods or is that not needed until I get into heavier modifications?
