I am currently looking for more info about my car model and rarity, i've found some info but I don't know if it's reliable...

I don't know if this website is reliable, and if it is, if this spec is rare ? (idk there is a lot of words, I know bathurst is a limited edition but thats kinda it).

The vehicle's history is kinda scuffed, but it currently has leather seats, alloy wheels and A/C, and I don't think those were added.

What does everyone think ?

I'd be cautious about clicking on a link from someone new to the forum, as that is a typical scammer ploy phishing ploy.

Type RB Bathurst X * were made in the 1996 (version 4) model year. Your VIN number is for a Version 2 car.

* They came in Black or White with red leather interior.

The earliest "bathurst " editions were Version 3 cars.

It is entirely possible that someone swapped bathurst options onto a Version 2 car. Sort of an OEM+ modification.

 

Do you have a reliable website to check the vin then ?

I tried to contact Mazda, they redirected me to Mazda Japan but Mazda Japan never replied…
