The vehicle's history is kinda scuffed, but it currently has leather seats, alloy wheels and A/C, and I don't think those were added.

There should be a firewall plaque and a doorjam sticker showing the VIN. Some show date of manufacture.
The VIN should be stamped on the upper firewall.
The difference between types are usually based on different parts options. But such parts are often swapped out with aftermarket parts, thus erasing the distinction between types.
There is not a large difference in valuation of the early RHD types, so I would not be too concerned about what Type you car actually is.
This is the sales catalogue for a 1994 RHD, likely for version 2. If you can find one it is a good source of the explanation of the differences beteen types. Special editions may have had separate sales brochures.

This one is expensive. look for a damaged one for about US$70.
