MO L1 & L2 plugs with little to no fire

Hi All,

Trying to finally get the 83 with stock 12a and Nikki carb (automatic transmission) running well. Rough idle (missing) due to L1 and L2 inconsistent/non-spark. Once she gets above 35mph the motor hums and lots of life!

I'm looking to test the leading ignitor control module as I've already installed; new coils, new plugs, new wires, new distributor cap and new distributor rotor.
There are old threads about replacing the ignitor module with GM ignitor (much cheaper), but, the drawings offered vary greatly! Only needing to replacing leading ignition module (will test it first to confirm).

Any simple drawings with detailed instructions still out there?

Thanks!

Doug
