Unhappy just a click?

ok so i have a right hand drive FD and everything has been running great until now! i put the key in and turn it, fans, dash, radio the whole works comes on in the car but when i go to turn it over i get a click and thats all. the car did die coming home from work last night for a few seconds then came back no issues. i was just driving down the road and all of a sudden everything turned off then came back. got it home and now it just wont start

Sounds like you have some major wiring issues.

Check for loose connections and frayed wires around the main fuse box at the front of the car.

Check both battery terminals for tightness as well as the main grounds.

wont turn over

Check the starter solenoid.
First, are wires tight ,then
Only if necessary remove starter and have the solenoid and starter examined at a competent auto shop or parts retailer (e.g U.A.P)
As far as the big shutdown goes ,I think the problem might be as simple as a loose battery connection.
Anyhow check the obvious probable culpabilities Then worry about the more serious ones.
That might be a fart and not a **** in simple crude terms.

battery and grounds are the most important, check the battery connections first, CLEAN and tight

i was away for the long weekend here so i will get a chance to look at it tomorrow
i will keep you up to date on how it goes

but how would a loose battery connector cause it to rev up and down like that? shutting off i understand but.....

like i said i will let everyone know how it goes...i will probably need ore help

Rev up and down like what? You didn't say anything about it revving up and down, just that it shut down for a second and came back, which loose wires at the starter solenoid, under-hood fuse panel or many other places may cause.

Wow I feel like a complete dubass -_- after it cut out and came back ... The whole way home it reved between 2000rpm and 2500 rpm when idling
