Just bought, need help with cut wires and capped/looped hoses etc Pictures posted
hi i just bought this car it has 84k original miles, runs and drives good, i bought it in the dark
now that its light out i see stuff that doesnt look right and i want it to be hooked up how it is supposed to. first off i have these wires black and white that were going into the back of the alternator that were snipped off black and white i do see where they go, second i have another set of wires that arent going anywhere but the wires are already stripped back, the colors are Yellow/White, Black/Green, Black/yellow and coming out of anothe part of harness these colors are stripped back as well green/yellow, Red/white, and Yellow/blue. i dont see where they should connect to.
2nd on the drivers side of the 4 barrel there is a hose coming out about an inch that has a bolt stuffed in it as you can see in the picture i dont know where this line should go.
and lastly at the front base of the engine there are two hoses cut and looped into eachother at this same area a rod comes up vertically to the carb but i dont see that it does much and it is zip tied to the carb as well
fun stuff well i figured that some of you would have an engine to look at that is in good condition with all wires and hoses routed correctly and/or you know enough that you could direct me to the routing that mine need to go. so i appreciate all your help in advance ... she does run good though, doesnt like it if i floor it kinda hesitates but may just be plugs. take a look at the pics and tell me what you think . ^^

You'll find a link to the FSM in the 1st gen FAQ. That should help you with the wire colours.
Since the car has a totally non-stock Holley carb, then the manuals probably won't help with the hoses. It's likely that the wires were cut as stock emissions equipment was removed. Indeed, the white and blue plugs are emissions solenoid connections.

ok so wires probably for emissions good deal! ok how about that bolt in the hose at the carb in the picture as well as the two hoses that are looped together looks like there is oil coming out them when i pull them away from each other. its in pic also thanks. please comment if you have this on your engine and see where they are supposed to go. im new to rotary engines thanks in advance
STOP DRIVING THE CAR NOW!

These two hoses are supposed to go the base below the stock Nikki carburetor to drip oil into the intake manifold! THAT is how the apex seals get the oil to stay off the housings! You are now forced to premix oil into your gas just like a two stroke lawn mower engine.
Go to FAQ in the 1stgen tech section and look up how to do it...as far as the carb base with the bolt and hose, it's for emissions or for vacuum advance on a distributor. If you pull the carb and see that it has a needle leading to the center of the manifold, it's a great candidate for hooking a line up to and then running a "t" connector down to the oil lines that are "that are looped together."

OMG thank you , glad i just didnt keep driving like this. my think Better safe than sorry. paid off this time yea i will t those two and run them up to the carb thank you very much for that great piece of info!

I'm glad I just looked again at the pics...you said wire chop so I just looked at the first pic when I released this thread...if I had seen that last pic, I would've had my cow a long time ago!
Close one! The problem you have now is that even though the Oil Metering Pump (OMP) will now be dripping out the oil, it still needs to be somewhat atomized into the intake manifold and not just dribbling from the side of the intake manifold. You really need to pop the carb off to see where that "bolt-in-the-hose" vacuum source comes goes to in that base. It may or may not be where the oil feed line should go.
Is there anyone out there running the RB Holley set-up that can help??
