Injector problem?

Hey guys, I noticed when I rev my fc, after I lay off the pedal It made a popping sound kind of like a misfire, so I replaced all four spark plugs with new NGK platinum plugs.
This didnt solve the popping noise, and I noticed other problems. When I parked my car for 10 minutes or so after a period of normal driving, it sometimes did not want to start. I would have to push and hold the gas down while turning the motor over and after much difficulty it would finally idle correctly; this has happend several times.
The other day after a period of 'spirited' driving, when I put my car in neutral It died. I cranked the motor back up and it started fine but it died again. I had to drive a standard while giving it gas in neutral to keep it from dying -not very fun
I decided to replace the fuel filter thinking it was the problem....it wasnt. I am still having the same problems with my car wanting to die while I'm on the road, ect.
95,000 miles on the odometer, maybe I have one or more injectors that are leaking. What do you guys suggest? Any advice is appreciated.

leaking fuel injectors, fuel injector o-rings, idle air control valve. these all can cause the symptoms you describe.

I looked on rockauto.com to see about the cost of new injectors and there are companies there that offer to refurbish your injectors at a fraction of the price of new ones. Has anyone heard of this or should I just buy new ones?

Send your injectors to Witchhunter to get before and after flow testing and professional cleaning. You get new o-rings and grommets with them when they are returned. It could also be a vacuum leak at the Air Control Valve on the lower intake manifold. Follow the big hose that runs to the part between the 5th and 6th port actuators and its the ACV.

Sorry I havent had a chance to work on my injectors yet, I have been busy getting what I need to replace my clutch hydraulics. I will say that I havent had any more problems regarding my previous concern. I will let you know when I finally refurbish my injectors. I could be my turbocharger as well. I see alot of oil blowby around all my intake connections coming from the compressor side of the turbo. It is probably blowing oil into the throttle body and coating the Idle air control valve possibly causing the problem I spoke of.

Turbocharger rebuild + Injector reburbishing = $$$$$
It may take a while.

Fuel pump might be the problem or a failing Pulsation Damper or a poor ground as well and so on.
