Injector/ECU/EMS harness issues

First off, i'm only 16. I bought my rx7 not knowing anything about rotaries. That being said anything you explain to me, i probably won't understand too well.

So, i bought an 88 (I think its a base model but the guy put gxl fenders on it) He swapped in a s5 turboII motor(from what i think, it might be s4). and thats how i bought it, with just the motor put in, and nothing hooked up.

From what i've read, keeping the stock ems harness is easier than buying a turbo harness. My only problem is my harness is mangled and all cut up, and my ecu is not sending any signal through the harness. Can someone please help explain what i should do in my situation? And could someone list any parts that i need to buy. I've read that i need some s4 parts from a turbo car to make the ecu work properly, but again i'm pretty clueless.

The kid who had this before me made up some story that he had the car running off of his friends hks ecu. My car has spark, and spraying gas down the intake "duct" i made it run. None of the turbo plumbing is hooked up. Currently i have a FMIC in the mail coming.

You're in a bit of a pickle. Normally I would suggest a full standalone for a cross series swap, but since you say you don't have the skill, that's out of the question.

So, the easiest thing would be to get a harness from an S4 TII, along with the ECU, AFM and sensors (see FAQ for TII swap links) and install them to run the engine. The harnesses between S4 and S5 don't line up, so don't mix years.

Now, my dad has an oldschool haltech f3. I've read that it would work just fine, but its a total pain to make it run. Any opinion on that?

I looked up the F3 and it appears to be a fuel only ECU. Not going to be much help.

Well my only issue is the injectors not pumping any fuel. Everything ignition wise seems to work perfectly.

Oh, and by the way, I'm a huge fan of you and your car. I could only dream of having the knowledge that you have.
