low oil pressure and a ticking noise?

WV low oil pressure and a ticking noise?

hi i have a 85 with the 12a and at first start i have great oil pressure and no noise except for a little rattle from the the exhaust and when it warms up my oil pressure drops and i start getting a ticking noise any one know what it might be?

Ticking noise could be anything. Probably an exhaust leak.

As for the oil pressure, verify with another gauge. Low oil pressure when warm is often a sign of front cover o-ring blow out.

For the ticking noise, check your distributor cap and make sure it is on straight...
