I'm just wondering...

I've owned my first RX for about 4 months now.
lately when I drive my FC I have notice that my shifter gets unusually hot.
not hot enough where it's unbearable but still pretty warm.
I just don't know if this is normal for RX-7's or should I be worried?

Just make sure you have the correct amount and type of gear oil in the tranny and shifter and you will be fine.

Mine used to get hot too i think it's just becuase how hot these engines run.

The warm shifter is caused by simple thermal conduction. All the parts are metal and transmissions get very hot while running. The heat transfers through the fluid into the shifter. Mine gets warm too. Kinda nice on a cold day.
