im just wondering... how long do the stock air bypass and charge relief valves last? i doubt that mine were replaced with new units at the time of my rebuild and im showing 111k.... im thinking its time for new ones.

any ideas on how much the stockers cost?

 

If they're not broke don't fix it.

 

They fail VERY rarely. It's pretty simple to determine if it's bad - I wouldn't just replace it "just because".

just for my information, what would common failure signs be?

 

No boost on 2nd or 1st turbo (or very low boost) ; that may mean you have a leak somewhere and you can check the valves.

OR

You shift and hear a turkey sound from your turbo area, meaning their not opening and the back pressure is making your turbo's spin in reverse (which is very bad).
