IMO, it seems like you're just buying random parts and hoping that it fixes the problem. Recheck everything and make sure it's properly installed instead of buying hoards of parts. If all else fails, post in the Fd section and I'm sure someone will help you out.

Is the fuel pump stock? Have you had the injectors cleaned and tested? Have you tested the injectors to make sure they are not stuck?

Starting an engine after dropping it in is usually a smoky rough mess. It's also prone to flooding.

You need to determine if there is too much fuel or too little fuel. I'd start by unflooding the engine since excess cranking usually causes flooding.

Take the car to a reputable rotary shop, if there is one on the island.

Ok. You need a few things to get a car to start:

* Fuel (not too much)
* Ignition
* Compression

Let's assume the last one is 'ok' since this is a different engine. Have you verified that you don't have any leaks around the injector o-rings? If the o-rings aren't sealing properly, you'll leak fuel during the start and flood the car. Also, have you verified you have spark? What's your fuel pressure? Have you verified you have all your ground wires properly grounded? There is a ground wire which is on the spark plug side. If it's not properly grounded, the car will not start.

There is more to the ignition system than just spark plugs. You can have the newest and best spark plugs on the planet, but if your coils aren't firing they won't help.

As for removing the airpump, you need a few things:

Greddy Pulley Kit:

Block off plates to cover the ACV and other associate piping:

The block-off plates only fit in one place for each one. They are specific to the component you are removing. Technically, to remove the airpump, you do not have to remove the ACV, but it makes for a cleaner engine bay. You can technically remove the airpump and just put a cap on the inlet to the ACV.

If you decide to go the full route and remove the ACV, then just get the non-sequential kit. It's doubtful you'll use all the plates right from the start unless you decide to go to town with removing components.
