I smell gas

My 1988 13B turbo has developed a problem. It's running 'rich'. Not certain when it began, but I certainly can smell unburned gas while driving and it stinks up my garage for hours after I park it. I don't think I have a fuel leak. I drive my RX-7 about once/week -- well less than 100 mi/month. The car's been well maintained and runs great except for this annoying issue. Anybody ever experience this problem? What adjustments need to be made so as to run 'leaner'? Is this a simple fix or major hassle? Who can/should do the work; and, if I take it to a dealer how much might it cost? Thanks in advance.

Immediately check to make sure it is not a fuel leak at the pulsation damper.

If it is not leaking, and you are sure, then start with a full tuneup.
