How do you remove the rear diff?

Hello, I have an 88' vert with S5 TII engine tranny and diff. I need to install my diff and im having a horrible time trying to take the old NA one out. The drive shaft, and both axles have been disconnected. I have the diff supported with a jack, removed the 2 bolts (left and right), i pryed the diff off the bolt studs but the front of the diff won't budge. (Front meaning the part connected to the drive shaft). I know there is a diff mount attached to it, but the only way i see myself taking down the diff is by dropping the subframe and diff as a whole (which i dont want to do). So could someone tell me how? Thanks!

I believe that's the way it's taken out.

Forget to remove the bolt from the rear link? There are only 4 nuts and one bolt/nut holding the whole thing up.

My 3rd pic in this thread shows the link in the foreground: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/pinion-snubber-diff-mount-replacement-convertible-876959/
