New here-have a chance to buy a fully modified 88 rx7 V8 for 4k..good deal?

I have an opportunity to buy this 88 rx7 tomorrow. As you can see in the pictures its pretty nice. 120k on the body, the 327 is fully redone with titanium head work, New wheels and tires, 700R4 automatic transmission, full msd ignition, custom house of kolor paint only 2 years old-perfect, color keyed interior, full sound system with custom subwoofer box, new brakes, new brake and fuel lines, electric fuel pump, full body kit and custom air cleaner.

All this for 4k. Good deal? I'm new to the v8 scene with these cars and have no clue what this car may be worth. ANY HELP???

sounds like a craigslist scam. If you can buy it in person then go for it. If they are asking that you pay them online or money order etc then walk away. 4k is cheap sounds to good to be true.

If it's not a scam, I'd buy it. The interior looks worn though, and the slushbox and 100 year old induction technology (carb) is a major turnoff though. I'd offer $3500 cash knowing that it will need some work (at the very least, a nice interior cleaning). Then I'd ditch the automatic for something that doesn't suck and EFI that thing.

But remember, ultimately a lot of the price will depend on how well the drivetrain is installed. If you look at the mounts and find out that they are made of old scrap door hinges stuck together with stick welds and solder, then the price will drop dramatically as you can only assume the rest of the car is just lipstick on a pig.
