Does your car have power windows or manual windows? With power windows, the regulator/motor assembly is somewhat of a pain to remove. The glass has to be unbolted, which means the two stops attached to it have to also be removed. Remove the glass by pulling it up and out. Once the glass is out of the way, the motor and regulator track can be unbolted and removed through the openings in the side of the door. It's a tight fit, but it'll come out.

Take a wash rag and stretch it using both hands and then slide it under the window crank getting the rag between the door panel and the window crank and as you slide back and forth from side to side as you shimmy the rag further and further upwards you will see a metal wire clip appear from behind the window crank as it is popped or dislodged from its resting place. Then using a screwdriver pull the clip out and then the crank handle should pull off with little effort.

more detail
for the door handle one bolt comes off with the window up and one bolt comes off with the window down. you also have to unclip the door opening rod, AND the door locking rod. both are a pain. there will be one electric wire if you have the factory alarm system. there will be a 2nd wire if you had a gxl/turbo/convt to illuminate the key hole(you don't).
