anyone had their windshield replaced or had to buy one? how much did u pay and is there ANY chance i'd find one intact at a junkyard? (i live in miami, FL)

 

Windshields break extremely easy if not handled properly... So you may end up breaking it in transport.

I got my front windshield replaced on my FD for like $135 bucks. That included the guys coming out to my house and doing it there.

 

$260 for a FD at Guardian Glass, that included the new rubber trim.
Guardian is nation wide...just give them a call.
A new windshield really makes the car seem new.

$250 is a pretty fair price...

 

I see alot of mention of FD. What model are you asking about. The only real challanging one is the FC with the antenea in the glass, as you have to soder. My local junkyard sells them for $70 already removed, and installing it is a lot easier than removing it.
