hks gauge installation

hello got these two gauges from ebay but the cables are a way too short to get them in the enginebay, do you know what i can do.. have tried them to screw out of gauges but they are very tight and cannot remove them. can i extend them with plastic cables, or what is the best solution.

2 question is, there where no sensors included and on the temp gauge in the metal cable is only one wire, but the sensors i found on ebay have all 2 wires. what can i do.
and what exactly do i need for the oil pressure gauge, i wanted to use the temp gauge for water temp.

Your profile says you have a FD. IMO, the best solution is to get two different gauges. If that oil pressure gauge is what I think it is, it has oil running to it. Not good if it ever began leaking inside the car. And I can't think of a good place to connect the tube unless it was in the hole for the stock oil pressure sensor. And if the tube or connection springs a leak under the hood you might have even a bigger problem. A decent gauge with a remote sensor feeding only an electrical signal inside (like the stock setup) is preferred. Actually in my experience problems with the stock oil pressure gauge can often be traced to just a dirty spade connection at the sensor. It's right under the oil filter pedestal. If it's giving poor readings, or jumping at idle, try cleaning it.
And without a proper sensor, the temp gauge is worthless too.

This may give you an idea for gauge choices... https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...light-1011674/
