High oil pressure?

I just finished bolting in my new block. I was running a stock block with single turbo except blew a coolant seal so acquired a extend port motor. Everything else is the same apart from the block.
Anyway, my oil pressure used to sit around 60-80psi, however upon starting my new motor up this afternoon, it sat briefly on 60psi at idle then jumped up to 100psi and sat there, where it still is. Should I be concerned it's sitting at 100psi? What could be causing this? Possibly the oil level being to high?

Cheers

The PSI increased as it warmed up? Hmm... yea check the oil level. I mean usually you'd see some extra smoke out of the back if there's an excessive amount of it so it often burns off
