Tachometer + Block Heater Issues
I'm currently using an 83' FB as my daily driver but I live in Alberta and we can have some pretty rough winters, the cold is just starting to arrive and I went to use my block heater for the first time last night to find out this morning that it does not work. How easy would it be to replace or should I troubleshoot first? Also for the first time this morning my tachometer did not move for at least ten minutes only to float up to 2k rpm and sit there for a while, soon after the car had been heated and the choke became useless the tachometer kicked in and was back to normal. I don't know much about tachometers but this does not seem to be electrical. Does anyone know what this might be?
