CA Have 800 to spend what should i do.

Ok my car is an rx7 88 turbo, it has straight pipes no precat or cat, it already has an intake, the interior and exterior are fairly clean, it runs well (when i dont flood it).

Here is my question I have 800 put aside that i would like to spend on the car for performance only mods, what mods would you recommend for me?

I was thinking a bov and boost controller?

Is your wastgate ported? The stock S4 wastegate is tiny, and an open exhaust and intake will make you boost creep to 15+ psi.

If it is ported, and your boost levels are stable at ~6psi, then you should only be looking to go up to about 8psi on a stock fuel system. An Rtek 1.7 (www.pocketlogger.com), two 720cc injectors & a better fuel pump will only be around $400. You can get a decent manual boost controller for cheap too (ball-and-spring type only), and then should be able to make 10-12 psi safely. A wideband O2 sensor can be had for around $250-300 too. A BOV isn't really needed. It's not going to make the car any faster.

He has $800 and you people recommend a standalone? Get real. It's going to be a minimum of $2000 to put in any standalone and tune the car properly.

$800 can buy a new set of shocks and springs. That's a pretty good bang for the buck.

if your going to upgrade boost id recommend,Intercooler and piping,BOV,wastgate. But really dont forget bout the fuel injectors and pump.a standalone would have been a perfect combination with all of this.couldve had so many tuning possibilities.Go to the dyno and man whatever im just goin on.
