I may have the opportunity to purchase a GTUs, but I am doing my research first. I don't know a lot about the model styles, but I do know the "s" was rare. The owner says it is a 1991, but from what I have gathered they were made in 1989 and 1990. Is this correct? Honestly there is not much info on the GTUs, what makes this trim level so special?

I am also new to rotary's, any "must" reads out there for info. I will be searching the board, but I don't want to miss anything. Maintaince, quirks, upgrade paths....etc.
