So Ive finished up installing my new fuel and pump in my new project fb, and I go to switch it on, still nothing. Quick look at the fuse box seemed worrisome, so I thought I could ask for some advice here. Engine will crank over, my problem is fuel delivery. No leaks, etc.
as i write this, i'm trying to remember if Mazda added the relay in '83 or '84 (i'm thinking it was 1984 though). so when the fuse is in, you're getting no power to the pump with the ignition on?
do you have a copy of the wiring diagram? if so, trace the wires for the pump and see what you find.
from my experiences, i think it's worth mentioning that i had this happen once and it ended up being a bad "security" switch. hopefully your ordeal gets resolved quicker than mine.
