Any chance you can get me some info on this one? Just purchased oversees. Seller listed it as a ‘93 but I didn’t see the j9 in Japan on other forums for ‘93. Any help would be appreciated.

mentioned that ‘92’s stopped in July. So a bit confused.

Car was almost certainly made in 1992. However, in Japan they assign the year by the date the car is registered as sold. So if for some reason the car was not first sold until into 1993, it would likely have a 1993 registration.

You can run a carfax type search that would give you more details on the car.

 

August 28, 1992 is the build date. Version 1 FDs were made until July 20, 1993. If you'd like a full Build Sheet, let me know.
