Fd idle goes up

Fd idle goes up

Hello guys does somebody knows what it could be??


When I turn my lights on my idle goes up
Thought about my alternator but maybe it's something else

Anyone some technical advices please ?

High electrical load is suppose to trigger a higher idle. It's normal. Idle should also rise if you turn your rear window defogger on and/or turn fan blower to high.

So it's normal that it rise 100-150 rpm

A loping idle that rises and falls continually, (probably gets worse once warmed up) is usually a result of a vacuum leak in my experience.

When the engine is cold and i if I turn the lights on the idle goes up but when it's warm the idle is going crazy

Yeah if your idle is rough like that, a vacuum leak is likely
