Engine light flashing.... Need help..
I have a 91 NA efi 13B auto trans. The engine starts and idles fine. When trying to drive it after it is warm it will only accelerate to about 20mph and gets real mushy and rough. The engine light flashes 6 times then repeats. I am new to the RX7 and havent read anything here to help me out so far. Can anyone help me diagnose this.

You need to know whether the flashes are "long" or "short".
If it's 5 long and 1 short, then it's a problem with the fuel pump resistor/relay. All the other 6 flash combinations seem to be with components that should not affect much.
The resistor/relay is near the air box, and can be tested as per the factory service manual (FSM).

The battery was dead but after charging I got the car started. The Check Engine light was on solid and the word HOLD was flashing slow and steadily. I moved the car around a bit and let it warm up then shut it off. I restarted it again and let it run for a while and noticed that the Check Engine light was off and HOLD was not flashing. The engine revs fine up to about 2k but over that it goes
HMMMMMM sput HMMMMM sput HMMMMMMM sput .
It sputs about once every 2 secs. The sput get worse the higher it revs and it has very low power.
Any suggestions??

Premixing will make up from the lack of oil going into the combustion chambers, but it won't do anything to stop the ecu from running the car in limp mode (if that really is it). You will need to replace the MOP/OMP if it is bad, but first check the codes and be sure that's really it.

You don't need LEDs to pull engine codes on an S5. The flashing of the check engine light IS the code. Click the link I provided above, and count the number of flashes you see.
Really!?! i didn't know that. and the link you posted is for the S5 correct? the thing is that the car it ran before i change my tps and now it doesn't even hold a bad idle like it did before i changed my old tps and now my maf sensor is outta wack? when its plugged in the car doesn't stay on but when its unplugged it runs like crap.
