Electric oil metering block off!!!!

Hi im chance. I have a slight problem. my oil metering pump step motor went out on me and i went ahead and blocked it off. the problem is its electric and throws my car into limp mode or check engine pops up and runs ugly. i turn off the car and restart it runs fine till it throws the code. How do i bypass an electric pump? Please help me!!!!!! Its an S5 engine

They say that you need to leave your OMP plugged into the wiring harness.

If the pump is dead on an S5, you can't just use a block off plate and leave it plugged in. The ECU will continue to throw a code because the pump isn't working. You will have to buy a new pump.

The people that use a blockoff and keep the pump plugged in off to the side, have working pumps.

if ya buy a rtek chip you can leave the pump unplugged.
